This rug is knitted in three panels which are then sewn together. Twisted stitches create the 3D leaves. The gumnuts are made separately and attached afterwards. A garter stitch border completes the rug.
The rug uses 1200gms of 12ply yarn and is knitted on 6mm needles.
It measures 90cm x 135cm
The cluster of gum leaves are framed by a Moss Stitch border.

Tip: Add stamens to the gum nuts to make them into gum blossoms.
The rug measures 135cm x 90cm. It uses 1200g of 12 ply yarn (Bulky USA, Chunky UK) and is knitted on 6mm needles.
