150gsm. 50% wool & 50% cotton with polyester scrim. Unbleached. Needle punched.

* A shrinkage of 3-5 percent can be expected.
General Washing Instructions:
Pre-rinsing
- Most batting can be pre hand washed in cold water only, without detergent. Squeeze water out by hand or machine spin and allow to dry flat in shade.
Post Quilting:
- Machine wash with mild detergent or specialty quilt wash on a gentle cycle in cold to cool temerpature. Caution: Do not use any eucalyptus based washing products (such as wool wash) as these may cause seed colour to bleed into lighter coloured fabrics where a natural batting fibre is used.
- It is recommended only to rinse (do not vigorously agitate) and squeeze water out by hand, rolling in a dry towel or machine spin.
- Allow to dry flat in the shade.
- For an antique look to your quilt, tumble dry on a warm cycle to cause batting to shrink.
