 Wow, what a busy month April was and May is looking pretty much the same! April saw stacks of new stock and lots of new faces in the shop. We hope you all felt warmly welcomed. We had a fantastic Easter break, and we also took time to commemorate ANZAC Day.
I  t was also Earth Month, and we were reminded of the importance of protecting our planet.
As our sign outside says, "Save the earth. It's the only planet that has craft stores ...".
Unfortunately, we were not able to make it to Craft Alive this April, but we would love to hear from anyone who attended this year's event. Please share your stories with us!
As we move forward into May, Mother Nature seems determined to remind us of the season and has certainly turned down the temperature very quickly. Heaters have been turned on and the hunt for winter woollies has commenced. The cold weather has arrived, but fear not! It's the perfect excuse to snuggle up in front of the heater with some of our favourite projects. We would love to hear what you are working on and to see photos of your projects. Share them with us on our social media channels!
May is also the month of Mother's Day, and we have some great gift ideas for all the Mums/Foster Mums/Furbaby Mums and those who have taken on the role of Mum out there. We have Cross Stitch and Needle Felting kits, as well as lots of yarns, spinning/weaving goodies and fabrics available. Hop instore or online and have a look for yourself.
If you are stuck for a choice, a gift card is always a good option and at Crafty Frog it can be used either instore or online. For in-store shoppers, we can offer a handmade fabric pouch for the gift card.
I want to apologise for not yet having commenced classes. They remain high on our priority list, and will definitely be happening just as soon as all the insurance #@%! is finalised. We seem to be inching closer, but just not quite there yet.
Our recent advert for staff has resulted in three amazing ladies joining my Crafty Frog team. Over the coming weeks I will introduce Fiona T, Sandra and Fiona A to you. They will be joining Roz, Leigh, Emily, Lily, Marian and Kim (when these 2 ladies return from their well earned holidays) and myself at Crafty Frog.
I am hoping that with the addition of these lovely ladies we will be in a better position to not only provide the legendary customer service we have come to be known for, but also enable us to move forward with lots of exciting plans and ideas that will hopefully make your visit to Crafty Frog, either in store, or online, an even more enjoyable one.
